Only God can judge me???

So, One of my close friends, or used to be close, not so much anymore, went to Korea, I'm not sure why but this guys always doing some sort of whacked out stuff.

He started a blog at
www.koreaiskrazy.blogspot.com I spent a good part of the morning reading it. Made me laugh, hard. Which is not a good thing when you're sitting at your desk pretending to work. Anyway, if you're looking for jokes, that's the place to read em. Big up BA...

Went to a religious gathering at a family members house over the weekend. I'm a Sikh, that would make the gathering a 'kirtan' (keer' tin). Anyhoo, one of my uncles decided to read some excerpts from our holy book. When he finished, he decided to enlighten some of the white people that had married into our family, what the heck it was that he was saying in English.

He started talking about how the point of being spiritual was to fulfill your soul and without God you are empty, as well when you truly believe and live your life according to the Guru Granth Sahib, the materialism's of this world will mean less and less to you.

a little background... This guy is the guy that when asked to help out the family financially he said no (when he was VERY well off) and then turned around and said 'I can help you by giving you advice if you want to invest or learn how to spend your money so that YOU don't have this problem tho' and is currently not speaking to his brother in India solely because his brother got all of their fathers money when he died because he took care of him while he was sick for the last ummm...10 years of his life?! So as we speak, he's taking his brother to court to say he changed their fathers will and made him sign it under direst. He teaches and preaches to everyone all the time, and looks down on all as little people that don't know any better.

Why is it that people that consider themselves religious are some of the biggest hypocrites around? There should be some sort of mandatory 'learn to be religious and not an asshole' course that they should take.

I'm sick and tired of people judging others and using God as an excuse.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in now way religious, I consider myself to be spiritual but in NO way religious. But why do they insist on casting judgment on everyone else rather than live in the word and be content just to live THEIR own lives the way they've decided is correct?

Why does world vision only help hungry children once they decide to become Christians? Doesn't a Hindu or Buddhist child get as hungry as a Christian child once it has been starved for days?

Religion, who needs it.
